Salary: $211,000.00 – $257,000.00 annually (Washington-based hires)

What you will do

• Drive technical discussions and implementations to generate new business and expand existing accounts within the Public Sector.
• Qualify prospect and customer use cases, discover technical requirements, and lead demonstrations.
• Identify and design solutions, collaborating on Proofs-of-Concept (PoCs).
• Advise existing customers on technical best practices, product implementation, and strategic guidance.
• Train and onboard new customers via video-conference or in person, and create documentation.
• Travel 30-40% to attend meetings with prospects or customers, conferences, and collaborate with teammates.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a customer-facing sales or consulting role.
• Demonstrated understanding of internet technologies: OSI Model layers 1-7, Routing TCP/UDP, DNS (authoritative and recursive), HTTP(S), SSL / TLS.
• Comfort with on-premise infrastructure and networking configurations.
• Strong technical knowledge of on-premise security and networking implementations, and public cloud initiatives common to US Public Sector.
• Technical curiosity and passion for staying up to date with hirify.global products and industry trends.
• Proficiency in project management, relationship building, and emotional intelligence (EQ).

Nice to have

• Understanding of L3, L4, and L7 firewalls.
• Comfort with command-line interfaces, RESTful APIs, and analyzing HTTP requests in a browser’s web inspector.
• Foundational understanding of AI and interest in exploring or building AI-driven capabilities.
• Undergraduate or Graduate-level degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications such as Azure/AWS/GCP Architect.
