Data Scientist (Credit): Leading analytics over credit and lending features, providing insights to deliver more value to customers, with an accent on enhancing product performance and building new Proof of Concepts. Location: Remote: Brazil, Colombia, Ireland, Lithuania, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Romania.

Salary: Poland: PLN23,200 - PLN34,400 gross monthly* Lithuania: €5,500 - €8,400 gross monthly* Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process

What you will do

• Improve existing algorithms.
• Build new Proof of Concepts.
• Deliver data-driven solutions to enhance product performance.
• Research and develop Proof of Concepts into scalable data products.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, and Data Scientists to continually solve complex data problems.

Requirements

• Experience building and leading a data science team within a scaling organisation
• Expertise in developing credit models.
• A bachelor's in a STEM subject (mathematics, computer science, engineering)
• Knowledge of data science tools, including Python, SQL, and production frameworks
• Familiarity with probability and statistics fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with Product Owners and senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (master's or PhD)
• Experience with additional programming languages, such as Java, Scala, or C++
• Familiarity with anti-fraud functions
• Experience working at a large-scale global tech company
• Participation in university Olympiad competitions in physics, mathematics, economics, or programming
