Business Analyst

What you will do

• Work within an Agile product team that comprises engineering, QA, product management, and UX&D.
• Engage in business analysis activities that ensure continued development and improvement of widely recognised media products.
• Analyze, document, and improve existing backend workflows, APIs, data structures, and integrations.
• Collaborate with technical teams to gather and translate business requirements into backend system designs.
• Research best practices and strategic direction within the industry to share insights with the team.

Requirements

• Ability to elicit requirements through various techniques and demonstrate curiosity by asking “Why” until the root cause is found.
• Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people.
• Understanding of iterative product development including MVP, prototyping, and lean start-up techniques.
• Ability to create simple flowcharts or diagrams to visualize user journeys.
• Work in a hybrid model requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office in the UK or Ireland.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of responsive websites, REST APIs, and tools such as Postman and GraphQL.
