TL;DR

Senior Platform Engineer: Architecting and operating cloud-native platform for deploying software as a service offerings to the national security ecosystem with an accent on research, experimentation, and development. Focus on understanding, provisioning, and securing cloud-based resources to deploy Game Warden on classified networks.

What you will do

• Architect, improve, implement, and operate cloud native platform.
• Research, experiment, and develop platform onto classified fabrics.
• Build, test, validate, and operate Game Warden in accordance with security and compliance standards.
• Work cross functionally on well defined topics and areas needing research and development.
• Develop and document new solutions and contribute to a culture of diversity, innovation, and excellence.
• Establish benchmarks, outline key activities, and prioritize efforts across multiple initiatives and programs.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience designing, implementing, and operating cloud-based infrastructure.
• Deep expertise and experience with containerization.
• In-depth experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), specifically design, management, and updating IaC with tools such as Pulumi in Golang and crossplane.
• Ability to develop, optimize, and debug code, design, build, and implement code in Golang or rust, implement, modify, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contract requirements.

Nice to have

• 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Certified one of AWS/GCP/Azure Solutions Architect.
• DoD 8570 compliance.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain a Top Secret-level security clearance.
