Principal Security Program Manager

TL;DR

Principal Security Program Manager: Managing project delivery for major security initiatives related to Operations, Architecture, AppSec, and Compliance with an accent on requirements gathering, team engagement, milestone tracking and strategic budget planning. Focus on enterprise compliance programs(ISO27001, SOC2, or similar) and ability to creatively remove project barriers and blockers.

Location: Hybrid role requiring 2 days week in the office in Dundee, United Kingdom or Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Manage project delivery for major security initiatives related to Operations, Architecture, AppSec and Compliance.
• Take ownership of assigned products, manage, influence and report.
• Create technical project plans and charters and oversee their execution.
• Actively participate and lead security projects, working to gather requirements, engage team, develop and track milestones and strategic budget planning.
• Collaborate with Security, IT, Engineering, Architecture, Product Management and DevOps to align resources and priorities for security initiatives.

Requirements

• Show a strong track record of relevant security/program management experience.
• Strong organization and project management skills – proven experienced managing global security projects.
• Experience with cloud technologies (specifically AWS and Azure) and experience with multiple security solutions(SIEM, EDR, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Monitoring, etc…)
• Advanced TCP/IP networking experience and understanding.
• Strong risk analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Must be a team player with great verbal and written communication skills.
