TL;DR

Lettings Accounting Support Specialist (PropTech): Providing live chat support for a PropTech software, focusing on lettings management and accounting to ensure client satisfaction and product improvement. Focus on troubleshooting issues, escalating complex tasks to engineering, and gathering customer feedback for product development.

Location: Manchester (Hybrid, up to 2 days WFH). Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Salary: £27,000–£32,000

What you will do

  • Become an expert on the Street.co.uk platform, including sales, lettings management, and accounting.
  • Act as first-line support for customer queries predominantly via live chat, but sometimes via email, phone, or video call.
  • Escalate complex tasks to Street Engineering teams when necessary.
  • Proactively build product knowledge and ensure customers understand product updates.
  • Respond to system bugs and communicate customer feedback/feature requests to the development team.

Requirements

  • Background in Lettings Accounting and/or Property Management, with a desire to transition into a tech environment.
  • Confidence in communicating with the wider hirify.global team and clients, managing expectations.
  • Passion for technology and enthusiasm to quickly learn new products and features.
  • Self-starter who can take initiative, with outstanding communication (written and verbal) and time management skills.
  • Calm and collected under pressure, with an adaptable and positive mindset.
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK.
