What you will do

  • Architect and implement scalable cloud solutions for data platform enhancements and integrations.
  • Design secure and compliant cloud architecture patterns in alignment with Starbucks governance standards.
  • Lead technical enablement of Databricks features such as Unity Catalog, Delta Sharing, Serverless, and orchestration tools.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Services and GCS Architecture teams to conduct architecture and security reviews.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance across data engineering and platform teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Azure cloud architecture and data platform design.
  • Strong knowledge of Databricks Cloud Architecture and its advanced features.
  • Familiarity with cloud security principles and governance frameworks.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration, monitoring, and serverless technologies.
