What you will do

• Design, build, maintain, and implement AI applications and AI tooling.
• Deploy your outputs for use in applications to support a diverse customer base.
• Help shape the future of the Peak platform, especially within inventory and pricing domains.
• Actively collaborate with other ML Engineers, Product Managers, and stakeholders.
• Carry out independent technical research tasks.
• Communicate directly with customers during the delivery/implementation phase of projects.

Requirements

• Experience in one or more areas of machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistics, optimisation, operations research, or Generative AI.
• Developed scientific software as part of a multidisciplinary team, with familiarity in engineering best practices (CI/CD, unit/integration testing, peer code reviews, modular code design).
• Previous experience with Python.
• Exposure to major cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
• Worked with common database technologies, including good SQL knowledge and/or experience with NoSQL or big data technologies.
• Experience designing and/or building customer-centric software products.
