What you will do

• Design and implement complex data collections involving human participants to meet science requirements.
• Develop and execute synthetic and model-based data generation methods.
• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and improve model quality.
• Build and prototype custom tools for efficient data analysis and creation using Python.
• Collaborate with scientists and software engineers to evaluate and refine AI functionalities.
• Coordinate data collection efforts, including planning, scheduling, and delivering final project outputs.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning, or a related quantitative field.
• 2+ years of experience in computational linguistics, language data processing, or AI data creation.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
• Experience with language annotation, data markup, and working with multimodal, text, and speech data.
• Must be authorized to work in the Netherlands.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with extreme attention to detail.

Nice to have

• PhD in Computational Linguistics.
• Experience with SQL, Unix, and database query analysis.
• Knowledge of agentic workflows and machine learning pipelines.
• Familiarity with version control systems and Agile methodologies.
