What you will do

• Design and execute large-scale simulation campaigns using solvers like OpenFOAM, ANSYS, and COMSOL.
• Train and evaluate AI models on physics data against industry validation standards.
• Develop tools for automated dataset creation and simulation pipeline management.
• Create agents and RAG systems to integrate LLMs into engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with research teams to diagnose model failure modes and data gaps.
• Manage research projects and technical communications with industrial clients.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's in AI, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, CFD, or Structural Mechanics.
• Strong proficiency in PyTorch or JAX for model implementation and training.
• Clean Python coding skills and experience with Linux/HPC environments.
• Fluent English with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated success in industrial or academic projects.

Nice to have

• Experience with simulation solvers such as OpenFOAM, ANSYS, COMSOL, or Abaqus.
• Applied ML experience in surrogate modelling or simulation.
• Experience automating simulation campaigns on HPC clusters.
• Contributions to large open-source or industry codebases.
• Publications in venues like NeurIPS or ICLR.
