Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Security Engineer (Cybersecurity): Maintaining and evolving the Information Security Management System (ISMS), securing product infrastructure, managing security monitoring and vulnerability processes, conducting threat modeling and penetration testing, supporting secure SDLC practices, and driving awareness across the organization. Focus on designing and deploying advanced security automation solutions and providing actionable security guidance to engineering, infrastructure, and product teams.

Location: This position is based in Rennes, France.

What you will do

• Administer and support Hardware Security Module (HSM) environments, including processes related to encryption, signing, key lifecycle management, and secure operations.
• Support and maintain Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) components; contribute to PKI operations with a hands-on, practical approach.
• Perform complex assessments, threat models, and advanced penetration tests.
• Design and refine alerting and detection rules; investigate complex security incidents.
• Conduct security design and architecture reviews and provide actionable security guidance to engineering, infrastructure, and product teams.

Requirements

• Higher education degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• Experience with HSM administration, key management processes, and cryptographic operations.
• Experience with PKI components, certificate management, and secure key lifecycle practices.
• Strong background in risk assessment, security monitoring, and incident response.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure security, application security, and cryptography.

Nice to have

• Offensive security skills, AWS knowledge, and software development background are a plus.
• Fluent in English; German or French is appreciated.
