What you will do

• Act as a Risk Subject Matter Expert for Technology teams.
• Design, implement, test, and improve Technology risk profiles and controls.
• Manage audits, operational risk incidents, and remediation plans.
• Deliver insightful risk reporting for senior leadership and regulators.
• Provide risk input on new initiatives and lead deep dives on emerging risks.
• Conduct materiality assessments aligned with local/global governance requirements.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in IT Governance & IT Risk Management (Line 1) within banking/financial services.
• Proven ability to identify, assess, and manage technology risk effectively.
• Deep understanding of Operational Risk Management principles and regulatory standards (e.g., Basel II, APRA).
• Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure and software development practices.
• Exceptional communication skills (written & verbal).
• Working rights for Australia required.
