Salary: US-based roles: $190,000–$258,000 USD annually. Canada-based roles: $172,000–$232,000 CAD annually.

What you will do

• Drive reliable, high-quality delivery across sprints, optimize developer workflow, and ensure stable releases using agile practices and engineering metrics.
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of web developers (frontend/fullstack), setting performance goals for Core Web Vitals and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Collaborate with Marketing, Design, Product, and Growth teams to implement A/B tests, new components, SEO improvements, and data-driven optimizations.
• Act as a technical liaison to non-technical partners, translating requirements into clear engineering plans and ensuring collaboration with Analytics.
• Ensure all web properties adhere to security best practices, privacy requirements, accessibility standards, and compliance guidelines (ADA, GDPR).

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in web development engineering, with 2+ years managing engineers.
• Demonstrated success leading teams that build scalable, performant, secure web experiences using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js) and CMS systems.
• Strong technical foundation enabling effective code review, decision-making, and architectural oversight.
• Experience driving predictable execution across sprints, releases, and large-scale web initiatives.
• Proven ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders (Marketing, Design, Product, Growth).
• Ability to work remotely from your home country in the United States or Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling a web engineering team from early stages to a high-performing, mature group.
• Background with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Webflow).
• Deep knowledge of Core Web Vitals, site speed optimization, caching strategies, and modern deployment pipelines.
