Flight Software Intern

TL;DR

Flight Software Intern (Embedded): Designing, writing, and testing embedded software for satellites and ground control systems with an accent on C/C++ development and real-time operating systems. Focus on building and verifying robust software for space technology, including FPGA/DSP programming and comprehensive testing.

Location: Onsite in San Francisco, USA. U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required.

Salary: $29 per hour (approx. $4,640 per month)

What you will do

• Design, write, and test embedded software running on satellites.
• Develop a variety of ground control and testing software.
• Work with the engineering team on challenging projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
• Experience with C/C++ and scripting language(s).
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch.
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded systems running on bare metal.
• Experience with real-time operating systems.
• Experience with FPGA or DSP programming.
