What you will do

• Write and test embedded software in C and C++ for smart lock and access control devices.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to develop integrated IoT features.
• Develop internal tools to improve product testing and manufacturability.
• Take ownership of firmware development and solve challenging embedded problems.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Redwood City, CA.
• 1+ years of embedded software development experience, preferably in C or C++.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and practical software development skills.
• Experience with tools like JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Interest in smart home and IoT products.

Nice to have

• Bare metal firmware coding experience.
• Experience with ultra-low power hardware platforms.
• Proficiency in Real-Time Operating Systems such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr.
• Experience with embedded Linux.
• Knowledge of wireless and IoT protocols (BLE, Zigbee, Thread, WiFi).
