Salary: $132,100 - $213,800 CAD/USD depending on location and experience

What you will do

• Create and test reliable cloud infrastructure services supporting hirify.global’s products.
• Balance reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency while modernizing existing services.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to deliver new infrastructure solutions.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and improve incident response processes.
• Enhance engineering speed and safety through automation and cloud best practices.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in United States or Canada (BC & ON only)
• 5+ years experience building and maintaining distributed systems with minimal downtime.
• Hands-on experience with multi-region cloud environments on AWS or GCP.
• Experience with container architectures using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or similar.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; familiarity with TypeScript, Node, or Go.
