Salary: $217,000 - $255,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead technical architecture and system design for hirify.global’s crypto trading platform.
• Partner with product to shape the roadmap and long-term vision.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to implement scalable and secure systems.
• Drive design reviews, lead complex projects, and own critical technical decisions.
• Elevate engineering excellence through mentorship, best practices, and hands-on problem solving.
• Optimize systems for performance, availability, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience technically leading large-scale systems and complex projects.
• Strong technical judgment, with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across engineering and product teams.
• Ability to operate effectively in highly regulated or complex domains.
• Passion for customer value and deep product engagement.
• Work from the New York, NY office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python/Django, Golang, Postgres, Redis, Kafka.
• Familiarity with financial systems or crypto trading infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS cloud architecture.
