What you will do

• Develop software on and off the robot to maximize data transmission throughput
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build data infrastructure for new city deployments
• Architect long-term network infrastructure for robot depots
• Incorporate operational feedback to improve offload systems
• Design software to support ~100x fleet growth over several years
• Support operational and network planning teams regularly

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work onsite in Foster City, CA
• BS in computer science or equivalent experience
• Strong Python and C/C++ programming skills
• Linux systems knowledge including networks and filesystems
• Experience with cloud object storage services (AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage)
• Strong written communication and cross-team collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Experience with high performance networking (100G+ WAN networks)
• Handling data volumes at petabyte scale
