TL;DR

3rd Line Engineer: Diagnosing and resolving complex issues across mainstream and bespoke systems with an accent on VMware and hybrid Microsoft infrastructure. Focus on leading technical recovery, root-cause analysis, and enterprise IT improvements.

Location: Hybrid with weekly commute to Newcastle HQ, United Kingdom

What you will do

Monitor alerts, performance issues, and emerging risks.
Act as the third-line escalation point for complex technical issues.
Lead rapid recovery of critical systems and coordinate troubleshooting efforts.
Perform root-cause analysis and document fixes and workarounds.
Communicate technical issues clearly to stakeholders.
Contribute to IT strategy and enterprise system improvements.

Requirements

Must be commutable weekly to Newcastle HQ, United Kingdom
Strong experience with VMware and hybrid Microsoft infrastructure including Active Directory and O365.
Good stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead complex troubleshooting and projects.
Experience supporting business systems such as HR and Finance.
English language proficiency at least B2 level
