Senior Cloud Systems Engineer

What you will do

• Manage and deploy Windows Domain, Active Directory, and server infrastructure including physical and virtual environments.
• Deploy and maintain public cloud compute and storage resources.
• Perform OS patching, hardware upgrades, and maintain SAN and virtualization environments.
• Manage lab and production infrastructure and maintain documentation of environments and processes.
• Work with vendors for troubleshooting and participate in on-call rotations.
• Lead projects across multiple groups and ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid in Southampton, United Kingdom
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years experience in public cloud environments and 3+ years managing Windows OS servers and domains.
• 5+ years managing virtual environments and 2+ years managing physical storage and SAN.
• Experience with protocols such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP, SNMP and configuration management tools like Chef.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in distributed teams across time zones.
