Senior Backend Engineer (.NET/Azure/AI)

Senior Backend Engineer (.NET/Azure/AI): Building and optimizing high-load backend services for an almost fully automated customer-centric power house with an accent on automating repetitive manual work and intelligent routing solutions. Focus on leveraging GenAI and other Microsoft solutions to create agentic customer service and exceptional online customer experience.

Location: Must be based in the Netherlands, with hybrid working (40% office, 40% home, 20% flexible), and possibility to work abroad up to 3 weeks/year.

Salary: €85,000–€120,000 gross annual.

What you will do

• Create a more efficient and intelligent workplace for human Agents by automating repetitive manual work and providing intelligent tooling.
• Reduce human-handled customer questions by automating the handling of incoming questions via app/web/call/mail.
• Develop an intelligent central routing solution to route customers to the best possible channel or agent.
• Build the best possible voicebot linked to CoPilot Studio, providing self-service and intelligent routing.
• Contribute to creating a better, more efficient, and mostly automated Customer Service utilizing the latest GenAI and other solutions from Microsoft and partners.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in both .NET and Azure.
• Experience in developing scalable, high-performance applications in Azure.
• Experience working in ADO (Azure DevOps) for CI/CD environment.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2 required).

• Experience with Microsoft GenAI tooling, such as AI Foundry.
• Desired experience with CRM, Genesys CX Cloud, Dynamics 365, MS Power Platform.
