What you will do

  • Produce strategic and financial analysis to evaluate M&A, portfolio purchases, and lending partnership opportunities
  • Support end-to-end execution and governance of transactions including due diligence, negotiation, and integration
  • Conduct market research and analyze macroeconomic, SME, and competitor trends to inform strategy
  • Drive capital raising activities and prepare investor materials and updates
  • Provide strategic and commercial support across various teams and produce reports for executive and board decision making

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in London, UK
  • 5-8 years experience in strategy consultancy, investment banking, or corporate development/finance
  • Experience in banking, fintech, or specialist lending sectors, preferably with SME lending exposure in UK/Europe
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, M&A transaction processes, and financial modelling
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence senior executives and build stakeholder relationships
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with high attention to detail
