What you will do

• Deploy, develop, and maintain OpenStack production environments.
• Perform platform upgrades and manage lifecycle operations using industry standards.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across operating system and cloud platform layers.
• Develop and maintain monitoring solutions for system observability.
• Script and code to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Collaborate with the team to implement best practices for the new OpenStack division.

Requirements

• Deep, production-grade knowledge of OpenStack, including deployment methods and upgrade strategies.
• Strong background in Linux administration and system internals troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python and shell/bash scripting for automation.
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Git.
• Practical knowledge of OpenStack containerization and deployment tools (Kolla or Kolla Ansible).
• Experience with monitoring ecosystems, preferably Prometheus and Grafana.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English for seamless communication in an international environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ceph storage solutions.
• Knowledge of networking (SDN, OVS, Neutron).
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) on top of OpenStack.
