Automation Specialist

TL;DR

Automation Specialist: Implementing and providing technical support for automation upgrades and services within the processing area with an accent on customer needs translation into automation solutions and sales support. Focus on preparing and designing automation projects, commissioning processing equipment, and fault finding on low voltage systems using various automation platforms.

Location: Preferred location in Hungary, Romania, Poland, Croatia or the Czech Republic, with approximately 60% travel required. You will be part of a virtual team across Europe.

What you will do

• Prepare, design, and implement Automation Upgrades and Projects.
• Coordinate work with other automation engineers, consultants, and suppliers.
• Provide technical concepts to support pre-projects and sales phases.
• Perform remote support, service, start-ups, and commissioning of hirify.global processing equipment.
• Work with and fault find on extra low & low voltage systems, Data Base, IO Servers and Scada systems.
• Edit PLC programs and re-commission systems.

Requirements

• University degree in Information Technologies or Automation Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience, preferably in the liquid food industry.
• Thorough knowledge of Automation platforms, MES, Industrial IT, and data handling.
• Very good knowledge of Siemens, Rockwell, and Wonderware software/equipment.
• Very good command of English and fluent local language, both written and verbal is required.
• Full driving license is required.
• Must be quick to respond, thrive in a team, and have a logical, methodical approach to troubleshooting under pressure.
