What you will do

• Review specifications, architecture, and design documents; develop component designs.
• Implement software components in C++/Linux; perform functional testing and code reviews.
• Debug issues with gdb, provide root cause analysis, and verify fixes.
• Analyze and modify existing embedded software; implement unit tests.
• Participate in design reviews; coordinate with SW Engineering Manager and stakeholders.
• Assess risks for critical fixes; communicate with internal teams and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT-related field
• 5+ years as software developer with C/C++
• Strong Embedded Linux Architecture knowledge
• Embedded applications development experience
• Inter-process communication, threading, socket communication
• Good English communication skills
• Extended knowledge of software development processes

• Network technologies (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs)
• Automotive experience
• UML knowledge
• Agile methods (SCRUM, SAFe)
• Linux kernel experience
• Linux power management, DLT logging, SPI/I2C/UART protocols
