Staff Application Engineer (Workplace Technology): Architect and develop scalable automation frameworks, integrations, and AI-enabled workflows to enhance collaboration, identity, and productivity within workplace technology. Focus on designing secure, reliable agentic systems, lifecycle automation, and embedding governance and observability into AI workflows.
What you will do
- Architect, develop, and scale automation frameworks and agentic workflows across workplace technology including collaboration tools, identity systems, and GenAI platforms.
- Lead engineering of lifecycle workflows such as onboarding, off-boarding, and access provisioning using APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Build reusable libraries, connectors, SDKs, and orchestration layers to enable AI-enabled productivity at scale.
- Implement observability with metrics, dashboards, logging, and alerts to ensure reliability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Partner with Security, Legal, and Privacy teams to embed governance, auditing, and compliance into automation and AI flows.
- Mentor engineers, review code/design, and promote best practices for building agentic systems.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of software engineering or automation experience building scalable systems and agentic workflows in enterprise environments.
- Strong skills in Java, Go, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or equivalent languages with production-ready service experience.
- Experience integrating SaaS platforms using APIs, SDKs, event-driven architectures, and building automation layers.
- Familiarity with IAM/SSO (Okta, SAML/OIDC/SCIM), lifecycle automation, and securing access with governance.
- Proven ability to design for reliability, security, scalability, and cost-efficiency with observability frameworks.
- Experience or willingness to work with GenAI/LLM modalities and build operational patterns around them.
- English: B2 level or higher required.
