What you will do
- Build, lead, and stabilize the global Finance Shared Services function across multiple finance operations including P2P, O2C, R2R, and Payroll.
- Launch additional finance functions into the shared services model and manage a hybrid delivery model with internal teams, BPO partners, and automation solutions.
- Own operational excellence, service delivery, SLAs, KPIs, and continuous improvement across shared services.
- Drive transition to a full BPO operational model ensuring quality, scale, and cost efficiency.
- Establish quality controls, risk mitigation, reconciliations, and compliance standards aligned with public-company expectations.
- Partner cross-functionally with Controllership, Procurement, Strategic Finance, Treasury, Tax, and IT to deliver integrated financial operations.
Requirements
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco, CA with ability to work hybrid (3 days in office per week).
- 15+ years of experience in Finance Operations, Shared Services, BPO leadership, or Global Business Services in high-growth or public-company environments.
- Deep knowledge of P2P, O2C, R2R, payroll operations, and compliance workflows.
- Experience managing or transitioning to BPO/outsourcing models at scale.
- Strong operational rigor with SLAs, KPIs, governance, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
