hirify.global is a leading fintech building Currency Management Automation software, a 250-person team split between London and Barcelona, operating independently within BNP Paribas.

What you will do

• Set and communicate the long-term technology vision for hirify.global and lead the adoption of AI-assisted development.
• Support the modernization of the tech stack by guiding the transition from legacy infrastructure.
• Improve developer velocity by removing blockers and enhancing systems, tools, and workflows.
• Establish scalable methods for resource allocation, prioritization, and performance measurement.
• Actively mentor the Head of Engineering and support effective team scaling.
• Maintain high standards of security and compliance (ISO 27001, SOC2) and collaborate with key stakeholders on technology decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as CTO or VP of Engineering in a scale-up environment (50–100+ engineers).
• Fluent in English.
• Strong technical foundation in architecture, distributed systems, and AWS.
• Hands-on leadership experience, mentoring teams and building capabilities.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems and managing technical debt responsibly.
• Ability to operate in post-acquisition or matrixed corporate structures.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, or regulated B2B SaaS.
• Previous work involving AI governance or AI-assisted development.
