What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team of backend, frontend, and full-stack engineers globally.
• Drive technical direction and execution for customer-facing billing experiences and APIs.
• Partner with Product, Design, SRE, Finance, and peer teams to deliver intuitive billing solutions.
• Establish operational discipline including on-call excellence, incident management, and reliability metrics.
• Build roadmaps, define priorities, and ensure predictable delivery.
• Improve engineering quality, workflows, testing infrastructure, and documentation.

Requirements

• Must have experience leading and growing engineering teams as a people manager.
• Strong engineering foundation in backend or full-stack development.
• Ability to drive execution in distributed, cross-team environments.
• Focus on operational excellence, reliability, and customer experience.
• Understanding of large-scale data pipelines, APIs, or complex distributed systems.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder alignment ability.

Nice to have

• Experience in billing systems, fintech, subscription platforms, or financial reporting.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud providers.
• Hands-on software engineering background.
• Exposure to compliance frameworks like SOX or secure data handling.
