What you will do

• Lead and coordinate project execution within a multidisciplinary and multinational team.
• Manage risk analysis, design-to-cost, and project KPIs to ensure schedule, cost, and quality compliance.
• Oversee proposals, studies, and technology development activities aligned with market requirements.
• Organize and lead customer discussions and meetings.
• Create and maintain programmatic project frameworks ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with company strategies.
• Mentor and advise younger staff members.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience in technical multi-project management for optical space instruments or comparable complex systems.
• Deep understanding of space instrumentation challenges, design-to-cost, and value chain product design.
• Proficiency in space-relevant engineering topics and standards (ECSS).
• Proven multi-stakeholder management skills across programmatic, technical, and political backgrounds.
• Experience in technology development and predevelopment management.
• Fluency in English (C2) and medium-term fluency in German is mandatory.
