What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure using Kubernetes and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline system operations and implement Infrastructure as Code.
• Serve as an advanced administrator for Microsoft SQL Server, managing performance, security, replication, backup, and recovery.
• Manage and optimize a small dedicated HPC cluster, particularly with IBM Spectrum Scale (GPFS), supporting computational workloads.
• Oversee enterprise environments, troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve critical incidents and contribute to IT infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in system administration with a focus on automation.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the EU.
• Expertise in system automation (e.g., Ansible, Puppet) and proven advanced experience as an MS SQL Server administrator.
• Hands-on experience with HPC management and IBM Spectrum Scale (GPFS), with knowledge of networking, storage, and security best practices.
• Background in DevOps methodologies and tools (Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, IaC), and robust understanding of backup technologies.
