What you will do

• Lead and coordinate onsite deployment teams of 3–5 engineers across multiple international datacenters.
• Plan and oversee IT equipment layout, validate BOMs, and ensure adherence to datacenter environmental limits.
• Produce and validate structured cabling designs and enforce deployment standards.
• Serve as primary onsite decision-maker and escalation point during deployments.
• Mentor deployment engineers and ensure clear communication across teams and partners.
• Support initial network device configuration and maintain uniform deployment processes.

Requirements

• Comfortable with extensive international travel to datacenters in Netherlands, Norway, and UK.
• Proven leadership experience in datacenter or infrastructure deployment environments.
• Advanced knowledge of structured and fibre cabling, network and server hardware.
• Experience with BOM creation and review, CMDB tooling, and asset management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Self-starter with proactive problem-solving approach and commitment to high-quality execution.

Nice to have

• Python scripting experience.
• Experience with Infiniband fabrics.
• Understanding of fat tree or rail-optimized designs for AI workloads.
• Ability to perform performance-level diagnostics on AI fabrics.
