What you will do

• Develop and maintain a clear technology roadmap aligned with central teams and leadership.
• Assess and prioritize technology solutions, balancing build vs buy decisions based on business value and complexity.
• Rapidly prototype and test new technical solutions to validate concepts before full development.
• Communicate technology plans clearly to business operations and back-office teams.
• Collaborate with engineering to design and integrate new systems and solutions.
• Conduct technical research and experimentation to evaluate emerging technologies.
• Measure and report on the performance and impact of new products and processes.
• Optimize processes and manage cloud financial operations (FinOps) for cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of experience in software development, tech operations, or data engineering.
• Proven experience in technical product management with product ownership responsibilities.
• Strong coding and system integration skills with a builder’s mindset.
• Experience or exposure to financial domains such as fintech, trading, or quantitative finance.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge business, trading, and engineering teams.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage projects end-to-end.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• 3+ years working in financial services contexts like proprietary trading or asset management.
• Knowledge of AI technologies such as transformer architectures and retrieval-augmented generation.
