What you will do

• Act as the technical lead and point of accountability for the Service Market Making Business Unit.
• Drive delivery and alignment of engineering initiatives with business strategy and architecture.
• Balance hands-on coding with architectural leadership and cross-team collaboration.
• Mentor and develop engineers, fostering growth and autonomy.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Manage technical debt, risk, and ensure robust, secure trading infrastructure.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK or Europe.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in technical leadership with experience in high-concurrency, low-latency trading systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Rust; knowledge of Node.js and Python is a plus.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps, DevOps, and DevSecFinOps principles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in fast-paced fintech or cryptocurrency environments.
• Deep domain knowledge of finance and trading.
