DevOps Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Building and evolving scalable cloud infrastructure for a Brokerage-as-a-Service platform with an accent on IaC, security, and regulatory compliance. Focus on optimizing EKS clusters, enhancing CI/CD pipelines with ArgoCD, and implementing robust observability using OpenTelemetry and DataDog.

Location: Hybrid (Germany); must be based in Germany and work on-site in Berlin at least 4 days per month

What you will do

• Shape the direction and evolution of infrastructure using EKS on AWS and IaC principles.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and compliant platforms for internal teams and external partners.
• Implement and evolve enterprise-scale platforms with best practices for security, privacy, and monitoring.
• Streamline operations and improve developer productivity using ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, and GitHub Actions.
• Implement metrics, tracing, and robust monitoring solutions using OpenTelemetry and DataDog.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team of DevOps and DevSecOps engineers, providing mentorship and technical guidance.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Proficiency in AWS networking, core services (RDS, S3), and IAM security best practices.
• Experience managing Kubernetes, specifically EKS, at an enterprise scale.
• Skill in implementing observability tooling, including OpenTelemetry and DataDog.
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and workflow automation (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions).
• Must be based in Germany to support the hybrid working model in Berlin.
