TL;DR

Fullstack SRE/DevOps (Infrastructure): Ensuring uptime and reliability for a platform serving 70M+ users with an accent on server configuration, distributed systems, and high-traffic stability. Focus on building robust monitoring, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and designing resilient systems from the ground up.

Location: On-site in Berlin (5 days a week)

Salary: €80K – €190K

What you will do

• Manage cloud and bare metal infrastructure, databases, and networking for a high-traffic platform.
• Build and maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices.
• Hardening the delivery pipeline using Kubernetes and GitLab to enable safe deployments like blue-green and canary.
• Partner with engineering teams to eliminate bottlenecks and build resilient systems from the ground up.
• Own end-to-end incident response, including on-call rotations and blameless postmortems.

Requirements

• Expertise in Linux, TCP/IP, and distributed systems.
• Deep experience with databases including MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog and OpenTelemetry.
• Must be based in Berlin and available for full-time on-site work (5 days a week).

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of GCP.
• DBA experience.
