What you will do

• Lead and mentor a global engineering team, fostering professional and technical growth.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects ensuring deadlines and quality.
• Set engineering standards to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Go-To-Market teams on product roadmaps and architecture.
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and workflows.
• Participate actively in recruiting and performance management.

Requirements

• Remote work from Europe required.
• 8+ years in software engineering with 2-3 years in management.
• Strong backend programming skills (C#, Java, Scala, Go).
• Security-first mindset with knowledge of AuthN, AuthZ, API security, encryption.
• Understanding of crypto concepts like blockchains, RPCs, self-custody wallets.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud platforms (Azure), and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge of payment infrastructure, cryptocurrency, and financial regulations.
• Background in security engineering and Azure technologies.
• Previous experience in crypto industry or fintech.
