What you will do

• Lead and evolve the platform roadmap, ensuring foundational capabilities can be leveraged by multiple product teams.
• Partner with senior leadership to align platform investments with long-term business strategy and product growth.
• Provide senior-level architectural guidance and contribute to system design for large-scale distributed systems.
• Set and maintain engineering excellence standards across reliability, performance, security, and technical quality.
• Hire, grow, and retain exceptional engineers and engineering managers.
• Foster a culture of ownership, psychological safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement within the engineering organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years managing engineering teams.
• Proven success in building and scaling platform capabilities teams that deliver critical capabilities.
• Deep technical background enabling guidance on architecture and system design.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems, APIs, services, and frameworks.
• Exceptional communication and influence skills, aligning stakeholders across product, data, design, and engineering.
• Work authorization for the United States.
