What you will do

• Lead and mentor a globally distributed team of software engineers.
• Ensure efficient delivery of high-quality, innovative features for time-boxed releases.
• Collaborate with Engineers and Product Managers to define requirements and build roadmaps.
• Foster a culture of mutual respect, collaboration, and consensus-based decision-making.
• Motivate engineers, provide regular guidance, and support their development.
• Participate in interviewing and drive hiring for team growth.

Requirements

• Experience leading teams of Software Engineers.
• Significant prior experience as a hands-on software engineer.
• Experience with GitHub, project management.
• Excellent communication skills and practices with the ability to drive technical conversations to a conclusion.
• Experience working in a highly distributed team with asynchronous workflows.
• A passion for building diverse teams of great people.

Nice to have

• Experience with open-source projects.
• Experience with cloud-native methodologies and patterns.
• Experience with security products, especially in the area of security analytics or SIEM.
• Understanding of the Linux kernel, ebpf, kprobes.
• Experience with automation and CI/CD.
