TL;DR

Principal Compensation Partner: Designing and managing global broad-based compensation programs to attract and retain talent with an accent on strategic alignment, automation, and data-driven decision making. Location: Remote with preference for candidates near San Francisco, Atlanta, or Toronto hubs; must reside in eligible Canadian provinces

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and evaluate global compensation programs including base pay, incentives, and career frameworks
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and HR Business Partners to ensure competitive and market-aligned compensation solutions
  • Provide guidance on pay decisions and manage compensation review and merit processes
  • Partner on executive compensation and long-term incentive programs
  • Ensure data accuracy through audits and automation with People Operations and HRIS teams
  • Mentor Compensation and Total Rewards team members

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of compensation experience in global organizations
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional projects
  • Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with HRIS, reporting tools, and AI/automation technologies
  • Strong knowledge of global labor laws and compensation standards
  • Must reside in eligible Canadian provinces; remote with preference for hubs

Nice to have

  • Experience in high tech public B2B SaaS organizations
  • Hands-on with Workday HCM and Advanced Compensation
  • Experience designing job architectures and compensation frameworks
  • Expertise in statistical analysis and data visualization
  • Experience with HR support ticketing systems like Jira
