What you will do
- Provide strategic leadership and advice to leaders and stakeholders on people-related projects.
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach leadership on effectiveness within client groups.
- Be the first point of contact for employee relations issues.
- Drive proactive conversations with business leaders using People data.
- Partner with stakeholders on initiatives like Career Development, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, and Compensation.
- Lead special projects and organizational design activities (succession planning, workforce planning).
Requirements
- Extensive experience in an HR Generalist and People Business Partner role within a software technology company.
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related discipline.
- Experience working on large, global, and complex projects.
- Superb communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
- English: Fluency as a working language is required.
- Knowledge of US labor regulations.
- In-depth experience in Employee Relations and complex employment legislation in Canada and US.
- Keen interest and involvement in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

- Ability to alternate between strategy and tactical execution.
