TL;DR

People Business Partner (P&T): Providing strategic HR leadership and partnership to leaders and stakeholders with an accent on employee relations, talent development, and organizational design. Focus on driving proactive people data conversations and leading special projects within a global software technology company.

Location: Hybrid in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (3 days/week in office)

What you will do

  • Provide strategic HR leadership to leaders, key stakeholders, and the People & Culture team.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach for leadership to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Serve as the first line of contact for any employee relations issues.
  • Drive proactive conversations with business leaders around People data.
  • Partner closely on employee-related initiatives such as Career Development, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, and Compensation.
  • Lead special projects and organizational design activities including succession planning and workforce planning.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in an HR Generalist and People Business Partner function within a software technology company.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or a related discipline.
  • Experience working on large, global, and complex projects.
  • Superb communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Knowledge of US labour regulations.
  • In-depth experience in Employee Relations and complex employment legislation in Canada and US.
  • Keen interest and involvement in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
