TL;DR

People Business Partner: Lead strategic people initiatives and partner with leadership to support organizational growth and employee engagement with an accent on employee relations, talent development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Focus on coaching leaders, managing complex employment legislation, and driving data-informed people strategies.

Location: Hybrid (North America, 3 days/week in office)

What you will do

• Provide strategic leadership and act as a trusted advisor to leaders and People & Culture teams.
• Manage employee relations and complex employment legislation in Canada and the US.
• Drive proactive conversations using people data and lead special projects.
• Partner on career development, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Support organizational design activities including succession planning and workforce planning.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in HR Generalist and People Business Partner roles within software technology companies.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related discipline.
• Experience with large, global, and complex projects.
• Fluency in English as a working language is required.
• Knowledge of US labour regulations and Canadian employment legislation.
• Keen interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion and employee engagement.
