Location: Must be based in the United States (up to 30% travel, 80%+ local to your region)

Salary: $139,700–$247,300 USD

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for customer adoption of Data and AI solutions.
• Consult on big data architecture and implement proof of concepts for strategic projects.
• Build and present reference architectures, technical guides, and demo applications for customers.
• Provide escalated support for critical customer operational issues.
• Become an expert and evangelize hirify.global open-source projects (Apache Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow).
• Contribute to cross-functional relationships and support fellow Solution Architects.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in programming and debugging with Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R.
• Experience building solutions with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience in at least one of Data Engineering (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka), Data Warehousing (SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS), or Data Science/Machine Learning (pandas, scikit-learn).
• Comfortable communicating ideas to various audiences through presentations, whiteboarding, architecture discussions, and platform demonstrations.

• Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research).
