What you will do

• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Engineers to design and implement standardized alerts and runbooks.
• Monitor the health and success of ongoing data and ML processes, creating manual and automated checks.
• Establish a framework for monitoring, alerting, and reviewing Data Pipelines and ML models.
• Provide technical expertise to data science teams for improving workflows with APIs, libraries, and automation.
• Offer Level 1 support for urgent issues, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure seamless handovers to US/UK time zone teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
• 3 – 5 years of experience in analytics, data operations, or ML operations.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (PySpark).
• Experience with containerization and CI/CD tools (Docker, TeamCity, Octopus, JFrog Artifactory, GitHub).
• Experience with Orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect).
• Experience with cloud data platforms, particularly Databricks and Snowflake.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Data Quality tools and frameworks.
• Experience with MLOps tools and frameworks.
• Experience using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic to monitor systems, metrics, and create dashboards.
• Familiarity with building and supporting process alerting at an Enterprise scale.
