Site Reliability Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes)

Location: London, England, United Kingdom. Office-based in West London four days per week, with one remote day of choice.

Salary: £90,000–£120,000 per year.

What you will do

• Monitor alerts and respond to availability, performance, and security incidents.
• Support development teams with emerging technical issues and investigations.
• Automate operational work and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Participate in building application delivery pipelines and migrating infrastructure and application services.
• Develop and maintain resilient, flexible, highly available, and protected infrastructure.
• Build dynamic environments for reliable application delivery.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with cloud-based solutions such as AWS or GCP.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting skills, including networking and file systems.
• Infrastructure automation experience with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with containers and platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Administration experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication, prioritization, collaboration, and automation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, Ansible, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, Loki, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
