What you will do
- Build and operate highly reliable and scalable systems using OpenShift and Azure.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, automation tooling, and infrastructure improvements.
- Own the observability stack, including metrics, logging, dashboards, and alerting using Prometheus, Loki, Grafana and ServiceNow.
- Coordinate incident response efforts and drive long-term corrective strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, security, architecture, and platform engineering).
- Maintain technical documentation, create operational runbooks, and influence infrastructure and platform roadmap decisions.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and containerised application architectures.
- Expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud services, networking, identity, and cloud-native patterns.
- Experience implementing and managing observability platforms using Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana.
- Proven track record improving system availability, performance, and reliability in production environments.
- Strong skills in automation and infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Bash, Python, or Go, and understanding of distributed systems and microservice architectures.
Nice to have
- Previous SRE experience and championing SRE methodologies (SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets).
- Experience influencing architectural decisions in large, complex environments.
- Experience leading incident response, post-mortem reviews, and designing CI/CD pipelines for large-scale applications.
