Backend Engineer (Node.js)

Location: Flexible work model: onsite in Belgrade/Novi Sad (Serbia) or full remote

What you will do

• Build and deliver top-notch user experiences for the luxury goods market.
• Develop backend features for luxury goods applications, including secure document storage, insurance, community, and trading.
• Design and implement backend architecture for user interfaces and manage build/deploy pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Manage and improve integrations with external systems like Salesforce and Microsoft.
• Monitor and enhance backend performance and troubleshoot application codes.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience with JavaScript (TypeScript) and Node.js (Express).
• In-depth understanding of web development concepts and practices.
• Proven experience with Express servers, MongoDB, and external integrations (Salesforce, Microsoft).
• Experience with Azure deployments and cloud architecture.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent.
• English: Fluent written and spoken required.
