What you will do

• Act as a technical leader and mentor for other Systems Engineers.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making processes.
• Connect technology solutions to measurable customer business outcomes.
• Partner with account managers and channel partners to drive revenue growth.
• Refine sales strategy and tactics, taking technical command.
• Translate customer business needs into innovative solutions and lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.

Requirements

• Pre-sales experience is required.
• BS in CS, EE, or other technical degree and/or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications.
• Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions architecture.
• Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN).
• Strong knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native architecture, On-Prem, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with modern web architecture (LAMP stack, microservices).
• Automotive experience.
• Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environment.
• Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP.
