Senior Product Designer (E-commerce)

Location: Hybrid role, based in Munich or Berlin, Germany, meeting in the office twice a week.

What you will do

• Lead and oversee the user experience of a product from conception to launch in partnership with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and content designers.
• Have end-to-end responsibility for a specific product design experience.
• Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of hirify.global products.
• Translate analysis and research insights into new ideas and concepts.
• Facilitate strategic conversations and meetings to drive progress against goals.
• Represent design in a variety of forums with product and engineering, and contribute to the design community.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of in-house experience as a Senior Designer in a software development environment for e-commerce/marketplaces.
• Strong UX design skills showcased in your portfolio.
• Experience in mentoring less seasoned designers, as well as strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Critical eye for high-craft design and desire for UI excellence.
• Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions.
• Experience working directly with Visual and Product Designers, UX Researchers, and Writers.
